Shiwei “Francis” Li joined China Advocate in the latter half of 2022. He assists in providing policy monitoring and analysis reports and key issue research services to multinational petrochemical giants, including Huntsman and LyondellBasell.
Francis graduated from Boston University in 2020, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication (Public Relation branch). He later attended Rice University in Houston and graduated with a master’s degree in Global Affairs in 2022. While studying abroad, Francis actively participated in all kinds of student work, including supporting the Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C. and team China during the 2021 World Table Tennis Championships, organizing several inventive student events, and creating various original write-ups and multimedia content.
